Setting Up the Cascade 1000 Canister Filter

I’m sure after you bought a filter, you definitely need to set up and setting up this Cascade 1000 won’t be taking much time of yours by following the instruction.

1st Step

The first thing to do is to attach the intake and outtake of the nozzles to it specific attachment point on the filter. There is a color on the hoses and it is easy to differentiate them. Screw it after you attach the hoses to the filter.

2nd Step

Attach 2 hoses to the nozzles that come included. It doesn’t matter which hose you attach because both of the hose are the same. After attach the hose to the nozzles, screw the clamp tight and make sure it locked. Make sure it is tight fit or else the air will get into the intake filter.

3rd Step

The next step you need to do is, attach the intake tube to the hard intake tube with the short side first. The intake tube also come with purple color and you should be able to notice it. Fasten the clamp as tight as possible.

4th Step

After fasten the clamp, fasten the intake cover to the long end of the intake hard tube. Attach the black color tube which is the output tube to the hard output tube. Fasten the clamp as good as it is tight seal.

5th Step

On to the shorter side of the output hard tube, attach the spray bar of the output cover to it. After done attach the spray bar, you can attach the suction cups to the output spray bar. Problem will come out when you cover the any output holes when putting the suction cups on. Attach some suction cups to the intake tubes and it depend on your aquarium located at home.

 6th Step

Make sure everything is ready to use after the installation. Make sure both of the valves and the tube are facing the same direction which mean the nozzles are in open position. After that, find the pump on button and pump some water into the canister.

7th Step
You may turn on the filter after you done all the installation.
